Dr. Khor Ean Teng is a faculty member at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She is the founding leader of the Learning Analytics Special Interest Group at NIE and serves in several academic roles, including editorial board member of international peer-reviewed journals, Executive Editor of the NIE Working Paper Series, Fellow of the Centre for Research and Development in Learning, Academic Assessor for the Nanyang Research Programme (Junior Research Programme), and judge for the Global Undergraduate Awards. She also actively contributes to the international research community through peer review, programme committee, scientific committee, and conference leadership roles at leading international conferences. As Principal Investigator, she has successfully led several competitive research projects, including initiatives that leverage generative AI and large language models to support students learning programming through intelligent, agent-augmented interventions. Dr. Khor has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers and has presented her research extensively at international conferences. Her scholarly contributions have received numerous recognitions, including the International Council for Open and Distance Education Prize for Innovation and Best Practice, the Best Researcher Award (Learning Analytics), the Young Innovator Award (Gold and Silver Medals), and the Best Paper Award. Her work has also been nominated for Best Paper Awards at several international conferences. In addition, her research supervision has led to students receiving prestigious honors, including the NTU President Research Scholar Award and the DISCOVER URECA Poster Competition Award.
